(9:10) WATSONVILLE- Watsonville police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Friday. Authorities say that at approximately 11:30 p.m. a lone Hispanic male, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, dressed in black clothing, with, a black bandana covering his face, entered a gas station on 1800 block of Freedom Boulevard, and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied and the robbery fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Anyone with any information is urged to contact Watsonville police.
