(06:42) SALINAS – Five people were arrested in Salinas Wednesday on drug-related charges. Police were dispatched to the Pointe at Harden Ranch apartment complex around 4 p.m. following reports of drug activity. Arriving officers spotted a vehicle leaving the complex. The car’s driver struck a police vehicle before speeding away and leading officers on a pursuit. The driver crashed on Crazy Horse Canyon Road shortly after. A search of the vehicle recovered drugs. Five suspects were detained and booked into Monterey County Jail. (S.G.)
