(09:17) APTOS – The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two arson fires that occurred in the Aptos area early Wednesday morning. Both fires were reported around 2 a.m. The first blaze occurred at Park Place Townhomes on Subec Lane. The fire destroyed eight vehicles and a garage. A ninth vehicle was found on fire behind Bay Photo on Park Avenue. Investigators believe the fires are related. Anyone with information is to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. (S.G.)
