(15:27) SALINAS- A Salinas man was fatally shot on Saturday. Authorities say that shortly after 9 p.m. patrol units responded to reports of gunshots on the 1000 block of Atlantic Street. At the scene officers found a 23 year old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a trauma center were he died of his injuries, marking the city’s first homicide of the year.
