(07:07) WATSONVILLE – Watsonville officials have moved the city’s Municipal Airport to a new division. Effective immediately, the airport will no longer be associated with the Public Works Department, but will report directly to the Office of the City Manager. The change has been implemented in recognition of the essential role the airport plays in the community. The organizational shift is also an endorsement of the airport’s progress over the last five years, in providing services not only to the public but local agri-businesses and corporations. (S.G.)
