(10:04) SANTA CRUZ – A Central Coast resident has won a payout in the Powerball lottery. The California Lottery has reported that a ticket matching five of the six numbers was purchased at a Chevron station on Soquel Avenue. The winner of the Powerball jackpot was announced in Chino Hills near Los Angeles. The $1.6 billion jackpot was the largest in world history and the first to exceed $1 billion. (S.G.)
