Santa Cruz County (12:17) – Weather related power outages knocked out service to more than 1100 customers in Santa Cruz County this morning. PG&E said 124 customers in Aptos lost power shortly after 3 am due to a downed wire near Porter Gulch. Later, at 6 am, 100 more customers lost power due to another downed wire near Trout Gulch and at 7 am more then 1000 customers lost power along clubhouse drive and Monterey Street because of a blown power transformer. Crews are on scene at all locations but there is no estimated time of restoration. (C.G.)
