It’s a novel way to combat the novel corona virus.
Beginning yesterday, the San Lorenzo county park campground in King City turned into an isolation space for infected corona virus patients.
The state donated 15 large trailers to house infected people who are unable to safely isolate in their own residence. Monterey County hired vendors who are supplying food. There’s also a similar site set up at the Monterey County fair grounds.
Meanwhile the county continues to add new testing sites through out the region.
