People who have gotten their power back, and are wondering if their food is ok, can follow the following rules-of-thumb. If food in the freezer is above 40 degrees and has ice crystals on it…..it’s fine to re-freeze. On the other hand….it would be best to discard, dairy products in the refrigerator, that have been without refrigeration for more than 2 hours. That 2-hour rule reportedly applies to meat, fish and poultry.
