Officials with Santa Cruz county have decided to go ahead and purchase the West Marine Headquarters building in Watsonville, so that a variety of county resources can be housed there. Although the move-in won’t happen until 2023, the following are the departments (and agencies) expected to be housed there: the Santa Cruz County Human Services Department, the Department Of Child Support Services, the Agricultural Commissioner, the Adult And Juvenile Probation Department, and the Auditor-Controller and Planning Departments.
