A 72-year-old man has just added “by reason of insanity” to his “not guilty” plea. Lawrence Robert Jones is accused of killing, and then dismembering, his just-divorced wife-of-5-years in 2012. 29-year-old Norife Herrera Jones, who’s body was found beside a roadway in Aromas, is believed to have been killed in the couple’s Monterey home. Her remains were identified through dental records, and the serial numbers on her breast implants. investigators searching Jones’ Spray Avenue residence testified they found blood throughout the house.
