An injured boater, and his 42-foot sailboat, were rescued Tuesday night, after the boater fell and hit his head. A Coastguard crew caught up with the vessel about 35 miles southwest of Monterey. The boater was transported to an area hospital, and the boat was towed to Monterey today.
