The name of the Watsonville man, who died as the result of an industrial accident at a Royal Oaks business on Thursday, has been released. 62 year-old Jose Fierros was reportedly cleaning a hopper near the end of his shift when he was caught in the machinery. He had reportedly worked at the business for about 30 years. The fatal accident is being investigated by Cal-OSHA and the UFW (because they represent some of the workers where the accident took place).
