Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing why our soils are depleted. Asserting that before electricity came along people heated and cooked with wood. Then putting the ash aka minerals into their gardens and people got minerals through their food. Also contending that flood control with dams kept silt from getting into the soil in river valleys. The silt also isn't making it to the oceans where plankton used to feed on the silt.Pearls of Wisdom
