Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing "preventable gestational events of the brain". Disorders such as Down's syndrome, cerebral palsy, fetal alcohol syndrome and homosexuality. Explaining the specific parts of the brain that are affected and what nutrients that are missing.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning sugar cravings. The article title "9 Ways to Kick Your Sugar Cravings" implies the author is going to instruct readers on how to get rid of cravings. Instead the article instructs readers to read labels to find out sugar content. Listing several other forms of sugars informing how many calories are in a gram of sugar. So on and so forth never actually outlining that sugar cravings are a sign of mineral deficiencies. Never telling readers that if the just supplement their diets with essential minerals their cravings will go away.
