Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing peripheral neuropathies. Outlining several disease states that occur when nerves are pinched due to degenerative disk diseases. Contending these can all be reversed through nutritional deficiencies. Asserting the MD treatments often resulted in more harm to patients.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of RLS (restless leg syndrome). The study found that men with RLS 40% more likely to die from major chronic conditions during the eight year study than those without RLS. Researchers contending this is an association not a cause and effect link. Uncertain why RLS might increase the mortality risk. Doc asserts RLS is caused by nutritional deficiencies just like all of the other chronic diseases.
