Mont. Airport plan 10/11/12 6p.m. TDH
A 46-million dollar plan to upgrade monterey regional airport has been largely upheld after a court review. The proposal had been challenged on environmental grounds, but was amended to include a new environmental impact report. The new draft will be open for public comment until November 26th. The upgrade is expected to take 3-years to complete (once construction begins). It’s all part of a federally-mandated effort to upgrade airports around the nation before 2015.
