Arrested for Pot Sales 10/8/12 8.30a AF

Monterey county Sheriff’s Deputies arrested an 18-year-old man on Friday night on suspicion of transporting marijuana for sale.    Deputies performed a vehicle check on a pickup truck on Jolon Road in King City about 10:30pm.    Ralph Rianda of Santa Maria was contacted following the check, and was found to be in possession of a large quantity of marijuana.     Rianda also had paraphernalia associated with the sale of marijuana, and deputies believe he was transporting the drugs for sale.     Rianda was arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail.
