Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts todays show discussing what he calls "doctor caused diseases". Listing several common health challenges and the things doctors recommend that play into the development of disease. Contending that all of these disease states can be prevented and reversed with dietary, lifestye and supplementation changes.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article on gluten intolerance. The story points out that the wheat of today is not the same as wheat that was consumed centuries ago. Outlining that these newer grains contain more gluten and have a high glycemic index. All of this leading to "wheat belly" which is visceral fat packed around the organs of the body cavity.
