(16:45) Santa Cruz- Following a recent increase in the amount of theft and burglaries from local commercial storage locker facilities Santa Cruz Sheriff’s detectives have completed an extensive review of all reports in the past 12 months. Within this period there have been 43 burglaries reported, a margin that makes up 10% of total burglaries in the county. The Sheriff’s Department has in response issued a statement warning individuals to thoroughly research the security features of their current or prospective storage facility.
