THE SEASIDE CITY COUNCIL HAS DELAYED THEIR DECISION ON WHAT SHOULD BE CONSTRUCTED ON 2 ACRES OF CITY-OWNED LAND ON THE 13 HUNDRED BLOCK OF DEL MONTE BOULEVARD. THE 2 MAIN PROPOSALS ARE FOR EITHER AN 68-ROOM BOUTIQUE HOTEL, OR AN IN-N-OUT HAMBURGER RESTAURANT. THE COUNCIL DELAYED THEIR DECISION FOR 45 DAYS.
IT’S UNCLEAR IF ANY PROJECT (THAT REQUIRES MORE THAN 4.7 ACRE-FEET OF WATER) WOULD BE APPROVED FOR THAT PARCEL AT THIS TIME.
