Highway 198 near the Fresno Monterey county line is the site of an investigation this morning… following a fatality accident.
A head on crash on the rural highway happened just after 7:30 that forced the closure of the roadway. Two cars were involved in the crash… one of them rolled over and started a grass fire.
One person died in the crash and it’s believed four others were injured. The c-h-p is investigating and it’s possible alcohol may have played a role in the fiery crash.
