A portion of Highway 156 will be closed for several hours today for the investigation of an accident. Caltrans and the California Highway Patrol will begin performing the intermittent closures at 11 a.m. for both directions of the highway at Meridian Road through 1 p.m. this afternoon. Motorists are asked to prepare for slow moving traffic, and are urged to use caution when driving through this area.
