monday marks the beginning of a year-long phase of a project on Highway-101 in salinas. As part of the Prunedale Improvement Project, both the on and off-ramps of northbound-101 at Russell Road will be closed, for as long as a year. Several roadway improvements are being made, to enhance safety and traffic flow. A detour will be in place from Boronda Road, to Main Street, to Russell Road. Access to Harrison Road will also be restricted.
