Locally, hundreds of people marched through Aptos as part of the national March of Our Lives event on Saturday. A group of several hundred students and community members gathered at the Aptos Village park to protest gun violence. The group then marched to the overpass while voicing anti gun violence slogans and carrying signs demanding a ban on assault weapons. Sililar marches were held throughout the nation.
