A MAN, WHO DIED IN AN APTOS HOUSE FIRE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH, HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED. 66 YEAR OLD RICK VANGELISTI, DIED OF THIRD DEGREE BURNS AND SMOKE INHALATION IN THE 12:30-AM FIRE AT HIS MONROE AVENUE HOME IN APTOS, THIS ACCORDING TO SANTA CRUZ COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE. VANGELISTI WAS FOUND ON THE TOP FLOOR WHERE HE LIVED. TWO OTHER RENTERS WERE NOT INJURED IN THE FIRE, AND THE CAUSE IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.
