With temperatures forecast to be in the mid 70’s to 80 degrees around the central coast this weekend… it’s no wonder 2020 was the hottest year ever recorded.
Yesterday, NASA scientists announced the dubious milestone along with facts like: the earth’s average global surface temperature rose 2-point-16 degrees since the late 19th century and the seven hottest years on record have all happened since 2014.
The national oceanic and atmospheric association also reports 2020 was the earths 44th consecutive year with global land and ocean temps above the 20th-century average.
