Santa Cruz District Attorney Bob Lee announced Wednesday a security guard for Watsonville community hospital has been charged with molesting a juvenile patient.
23-year-old Alberto Maldonado worked at the hospital and was tasked with watching high risk patients.
He was arrested Tuesday night and will be arraigned Thursday and faces a variety of federal charges.
No other details were released.
