The Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Department has identified a body found Sunday by deputies as 36-year-old Santa Cruz County resident Douglass Murdock. Police said Murdock was reported missing in December.
Sheriff’s deputies found Murdock’s corpse off of Glen Canyon Road. An autopsy determined Murdock was a homicide victim who had been stabbed, though the cause of death has not been determined.
