Several homes were damaged by falling trees this morning, and at least 3 of those homes are in Carmel. The downed trees in Carmel were located near the intersections of Dolores and 9th Street, 10th Street and Camino Real, and Lobos and 4th Streets. 8 trees and several large limbs have fallen so far in Carmel, and 4 roads are closed; and so Carmel city officials have activated a local regional C.E.R.T. team to help with traffic control.
