A piece of good news about the spread of the corona virus… according to the county run “homeless persons health project” there are no confirmed cases of the virus among the Santa Cruz homeless population seeking health care.
The homeless persons health project on coral street in Santa Cruz serves as a clinic for those less fortunate and has started screening folks for cough and fever. The organization set up an isolation tent in the parking lot in the event someone does test positive.
Meanwhile… the homeless persons health project is working with the county emergency operations center to deploy more hand washing stations within the homeless community.
