The Hollister City Council recently approved $56,000 in funding for the Spay Neuter Imperative Project, otherwise known as SNIP Bus.
As a result, mobile low-cost spay and neuter services for cats and dogs will be provided once a month for those in the Hollister community.
Additionally, the Hollister Animal Shelter will also get assistance with these services, along with four additional dates during the year for assisting with feral cats.
This is the third year in which the city of Hollister has approved funding for SNIP Bus.
