Hollister police are investigating two separate reports of car shootings. Both shootings took place on Thursday. The first incident was reported at 9 p.m. after a couples car was fired upon, occurred near the corner of Versailles and Del Mar Drive, by a passing late model dark colored hatch back. The couple was uninjured, but the vehicle was hit several times by gunfire. Then shortly before 10 p.m. witnesses reported a rolling gun battle between two white cars near East and First Streets. Officers collect shell casings at the scene no injuries have been reported. The shootings are believed to be gang related.
