a special meeting has been scheduled by the hollister city council, to discuss the decision to continue the city’s redevelopment agency as the state prepares to eliminate the program. if the city continues the agency as an “alternative successor agency”, then annual payments of 1-million dollars will be required, on top of a one-time 4 million dollar fee. the city council is set to meet monday, at 5 p.m. at hollister city hall.
