A Hollister patrol car was damaged during a pursuit on Friday. Officials say that the patrol unit was rammed by another vehicle during a police chase through the city. The pursuit began as officers were attempting to apprehend a man suspected of a drive-by shooting. No one was injured during the collision and the suspect was taken into custody. The icident is believed to be gang related.
