A San Benito County jury convicted a Hollister man of 1st degree murder on Friday. 50 year old Sang Ji was found guilty of killing his wife, Clara Ji, in 2017. Another woman,Jung Choi, pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter for her involvement in the killing and disposal of Clara Ji’s body in a ravine on the 2300 block of Salinas Grade Road near San Juan Bautista. A sentencing date has yet to be set.
