Two armed robbery suspects were arrested this week in Hollister. Police responded to a report of a home invasion robbery Monday around midnight on the 400-block of Haydon Street. Officers arrived to find the masked men had fled the scene, when a foot chase around the surrounding area ensued. One of the men was caught and arrested, while the 2nd suspect was arrested the following day. 21-year old Juan Garcia and 28 year old Peter Avila face multiple charges including home invasion, robbery, false imprisonment, and assault with a deadly weapon.
