The Hollister fire department is on the lookout for a firebug.
Fire chief Bob Martin Del Campo says there has been a string of suspicious fires lately . The chief said recently at least eight fires have been intentionally set. Yesterday firefighters were able to extinguish a blaze that broke out in the same spot where a fire started just days before. Initial reports indicate they may both have been the work of an arsonist.
Hollister fire investigators are conducting interviews along with the sheriff’s department… looking for any possible suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Hollister fire department.
