A Hollister nuisance citation and failing to sign a citation escalated into a DUI last week. Hollister police responded to a recurring restraining order violation at the 300 block of Paul Drive. Francisco Zendejas had a history of disturbing neighbors. Upon arrival the subject of the restraining order’s father, Samuel Zendejas was arrested for resisting. A short time later Francisco Zendejas went to the jail but drove off when officers confronted him, a chase ensued until Zendejas crashed into a natural gas pipe causing a leak. He was booked into San Benito County jail on DUI and resisting arrest charges.
