A 2-2 vote this week, by the Hollister city council, ha s grounded the 2017 Hollister Airshow. The city generally spends about 20 thousand dollars on the annual event….and this time due to concerns over costs and other things, they failed top approve the dates of the airshow, and so it won’t be happening this coming year. It’s unclear what that might mean for other events such as the Hollister Independence Motorcycle Rally, (that is traditionally held July 4th).
