A man suspected of 2014 homicide in Hollister is now in custody. Jose Barajas is wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 18 year old Ariana Zendejas in August of 2014 then kidnapping 18 year old Vanessa Flores and fleeing to Mexico. A reward led to credible information on Barajas whereabouts and in June he was arrested in Mexico and extradited back to Hollister to face murder charges.
