The trial of a Hollister man has been delayed again. Jose Antonio Barajas is now due back in court next Thursday June 27th for a hearing to set his trial date. Barajas is accused of shooting, and killing, 19 year-old Ariana Zendejas back in august of 1014. He was arrested in 2018, in Guadalajara Mexico, and extradited back to stand trial. Barajas has also been charged with 3 counts of attempted murder, kidnapping, and shooting at an occupied vehicle. If convicted on all charges against him, Barajas faces a sentence of life in prison.
