The 2nd Hollister Toy-Anime-Comic Con is scheduled to be held this weekend. After the success of last year’s inaugural event, the man who runs Ohana Comic Con started planning this year’s gathering. These events are designed to be smaller gatherings in smaller towns (rather than some of the bigger comic cons around the country). Although smaller, they incorporate pretty much anything in pop culture including video games, anime, and a cos-play contest.
The Con is slated to take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Veterans Memorial Building on San Benito Street in Hollister. Admission is free for children 12 and under.
