The person (or people) who was (were) making fireworks and bombs in an abandoned trailer off Sunnyslope Road near Hollister is being sought. That after 20 devices, 2 of which had shrapnel inside, were discovered by San Benito County Sheriff’’s deputies. The devices were transported to a local shooting range and detonated….with the assistance of the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Team. The last person to live on the property was reportedly evicted in September, and investigators are working to determine who may have had access to the trailer over the last few months. Anyone with information on this case is encouraged to contact the San Benito County Sheriff’s Department.
