On Friday a Monterey county judge found Charles Holifield guilty of the 1998 rape and murder of 13 year old Christina Williams. The judge immediately sentenced Holifield to life in prison without parole. Holifield had waived his right to a jury trial which nullified the possibility of a death sentence. Holifield was already serving a 25 year sentenece for one of several rape convictions.
