The man accused of kidnapping and killing 13 year-old Christina Marie Williams, back in 1998 was back in a monterey county court room this morning. Charles Holifield is a convicted rapist and kidnapper who is currently serving time for sexual assaults against women, is linked to Christina Marie Williams’ death via DNA evidence. Holifield is scheduled to be back in court November 14th, and his trial is slated to begin next march.
Williams vanished from her home on the former Fort Ord while walking her dog June 12th of 1998…..and her skeletal remains were found in heavy brush (not far from her home) 7 months later…..in an area that had previously been searched.
