A man known as “Big Cat” recently passed away at his La Selva Beach residence.
Mark Phillip Holcomb was 68 years old.
He was known as a family man, entrepreneur, contributor to the Aptos community, and an avid fan of sports.
Mark’s work includes developing several key projects in the Seascape area of Santa Cruz County under the Holcomb Corporation, from the Village Shopping Center, Palapas Restaurant, Racquet Landing, and Seascape Ridge.
He is survived by his two daughters and four grandchildren.
A memorial room for Mark at Seascape Resort has been built is available now until the end of December.
