Thanks to witness tips, Salinas Police arrested the man responsible for the hit and run of a Salinas teen on April 29th. The Salinas High student was hit while walking his bike across South Main Street and sustained several injuries to his body and face. After someone reported seeing the suspect’s vehicle dropping children off at Mission park School, officers parked nearby on Monday. They stopped 20-year-old Brent Adams and questioned him about the hit and run. Adams confessed to being involved and was booked into Monterey County Jail.
