A man was arrested on Tuesday, after speeding away from the scene of a car accident in salinas. The suspect is accused of running over a homeless person on soledad street. the victim was taken to a local hospital. The suspect fled, and ran into a building at 229 commission street. just before 6 p.m., he surrendered, and was arrested at gunpoint. Police are investigating if the incident was intentional.
