A Bonny Doon couple was found safe this week after having gone missing from hiking in Fall Creek State Park over the weekend. The couple, who are in their 40’s, went for a hike in the over 23-hundred acre park west of Felton on Saturday, when they were reported missing after not returning by late Saturday night. Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Deputies, State and Park rangers, and search and rescue volunteers searched the rugged and heavily wooded area, which includes 20 miles of hiking trails, for about 2 days, after finding the couple unhurt around 7 p.m. Monday evening.
